The NFL schedule is out. Fans are predicting which games their teams are going to win, whilst full of that postseason optimism. With the schedule, we find out what we have to look forward to on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night. You want exciting and competitive games in primetime right? What are the games worth tuning in for this season? I give you my best games on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Nights in chronological order.

Thursday Night Football

October 7th – Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford leads his new Rams team in his first big NFC West road game, going head to head with Russell Wilson.

December 16th – Los Angeles Chargers vs Kansas City Chiefs

Can Justin Herbert and the Chargers build on his offensive rookie of the year season, and challenge Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for the division? This game in December could go a long way in telling us.

December 25th – Green Bay Packers vs Cleveland Browns

Two teams who won a playoff game last season, but then lost the next one, and will be hoping to go even better this time around. This one should be a “cracker” on Christmas Day.

Sunday Night Football

September 19th – Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs

Jackson vs Mahomes was supposed to dominate the AFC for years to come, but it’s not quite worked out that way for Baltimore, but this is still a matchup full of excitement and intrigue.

October 3rd – New England Patriots vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady heads back to Foxborough as reigning Super Bowl champion. I don’t think anything else needs to be said, does it? The NFL schedule throws up one of the most fascinating matchups, probably ever.

November 28th – Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns

Two AFC North heavyweights do battle in a game that could be key in deciding who wins the division.

January 2nd – Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

Week 17 and a rivalry game between the two teams I expect to be fighting for the NFC North. The potential to be a massive game at Lambeau Field.

Monday Night Football

October 18th – Tennesse Titans vs Buffalo Bills

Can Derrick Henry carry on from his phenomenal performance from last season, or will it be Josh Allen and Steffin Diggs who continue to dominate?

December 6th – Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots

By this point in the season, we will probably have a good idea, as to whether the Buffalo Bills are the new powerhouse in the AFC East. I suspect Belichick and co are going to have something to say about that this season.
